22 weeks pregnant, can i go see an action movie at the theater? will the baby be safe?

I want to go see Jumper this friday but i'm not sure if its safe for my baby since its an action movie with loud noises. What do you think?

o yea.. you'll be fine.. if you're super concerned try and sit towards the middle instead of the outside right by the speakers, but really i dont think it will do anything no matter where you are sitting.. remember they have a good cushioning around their ears and only hear muffles!

The worst thing that will happen to him/her is that they wake up because of the noise. The volume level is not like a rock concert by the speakers which could be harmful to ear developement maybe . I went to loud movies while pregnant with my son and he is perfectly fine. I am 33 weeks pregnant again and doing the same thing! good luck!
Everything your baby hears is muffled by the amniotic fluid. You should be just fine going. If you are really concerned, talk to your doctor first.

Sure you can watch a movie. Your baby will have experienced no damage to its hearing when exposed to a loud noise at 23 weeks.
haha your baby will be kicking alot and if you feel uneasy about it take it up with your doc
I watch lots of movies - scary and action packed... Some in the theater. The noise and adrenaline rush haven't bothered myself or the baby. Heck, we have even gone to 2 WWE matches (husband loves wrestling.. what can I say, SMILE). I say go see it, and enjoy!
noises wont hurt an unborn baby, moving around like crazy (sudden movements) , jumping or bumping your belly against something hard, riding a motorcycle, horseback riding, etc.. will very much hurt the baby. constant loud and bad noises can screw up with its brain and make the kid become an aggressive person later on but wont hurt it at all....
Rest assured your baby will be safe and sound even if u see the same show ten times over! As it is still in your womb and won't come to any harm by a harmless action movie!

its fine hun- u can watch w.e movie u want..just try not watchin horror movies, since we can get scare sometimes then thats no good.but ull b fine.

Ya, why wouldn't it.
Ofcourse, i went to a Nickelback concert when i was pregnant, the baby moved around like crazy! lol
