Do theater workers care if I pay to see a movie and then stay to see a couple more?

I've often paid to see one movie and then spent the rest of the day theater hopping. Is this really wrong or no big deal?

Do theater workers care if I pay to see a movie and then stay to see a couple more?getting late

the rightness or wrongness of this i will not address--because if you want to talk about criminal, we could discuss the cost of the movie tickets and refreshments sold at the theaters...)

but i don't think the theater workers really care. some kind of expect it, i think.

my GF and i usually go early on saturday and try to see two movies in the same multiplex (if i have to make the trek all the way downtown for a movie, this makes it more worth my while, especially if there are a lot of good movies available).

so i actually buy all four tickets at once (two for the first movie we will see about 10 or 11AM and two for the second starting roughly two-three hours after that--sometimes we are able to just walk from one theater over to the other, depending on the times).

seven times out of ten, the ticket sellers look at me like i'm doing something stupid (or maybe it's the fact that someone does "double features" these days...). one time, the ticket agent actually questioned me--and spoke to me very slowly as if i was developmentally challenged or something.

"Are...you...sure ...you ...want ...to ...buy ...tickets ...for... this ...other... movie? It's ...playing...right...across ...the ...hall ...from...the... first ...one...?"

she did everything but give me a wink and that nose touch (remember The Sting?)

but it's saturday...i don't want to ruin my day with any potential hassles with the police--i just buy the tickets.

it is against the law
You mean to watch another movie? If that's the case, then I think it's wrong.. Because you only paid for one movie right? So you're making the cinema go bankrupt [I hope that makes sense].. If the cinema goes bankrupt, where do you want to watch movies? Maybe you can go to another cinema, but it might be further away from the cinema you used to go to..
send me your pic and theatre number i'll be more then happy to let em know. that way you'll get what you deserve.
It is really wrong and if you are caught, at minimum you are kicked out of the theatre, if not for the day, for life and they could call the police (although most theatres don't).
this is wrong you only paid to see one movie. it is like stealing. if everyone did this the price of movies would end up having to go up agian and they already cost too much.
